President Jonathan Should Not Dare Return To Nigeria Without Madiba By Usama Dandare.

The departure of President Jonathan to South Africa signaled another transformation agenda to Nigeria's Government account. As Nigeria must surely spend huge sum of money to cover all expenses by Mr. President and his entourage to Mandela's burial.
Mr. President's estacode with that of his delegation will cost Nigeria nothing less than what South African Government budgeted for Mandela's burial.

President Jonathan is known to travel with large contingents to foreign engagements. He was accompanied by a 600-man delegation to the UN general assembly some few months ago in New York. About two Month or so, a delegation of more than 800 men accompanied Him to the holy land of Israel for Christian pilgrimage. All expenses by Mr. President and his gang of thieves are well taken care of and paid from tax payers money.

Millions are extravagantly wasted on framed official engagements while our people continue to languish in hunger, insecurity, disease and squalor.
It's inevitable, this history must repeat itself to South Africa.

South Africa has welcomed a madman's delegation of big fat belly men with no credibility to exhibit. They are hosting the most inhuman people who bragged about corruption and will deliver nothing to South Africa. The only ones to gain are South African Breweries.

A delegation of mourners arrived Johannesburg accompanying President Jonathan to say farewell to Nelson Mandela, a great hero and a role model.
Madiba 95, plays a very significant role in fighting for the freedom of South Africa, leaving behind credible characters to emulate.
Mandela was an African nationalist, an ideological position he held since joining the ANC, also being "a democrat, and a socialist". Although he presented himself in an autocratic manner in several speeches, Mandela was a devout believer in democracy and abided by majority decisions even when deeply disagreeing with them. He held a conviction that "inclusivity, accountability and freedom of speech" were the fundamentals of democracy, and was driven by a belief in natural and human rights. This belief drove him to not only pursue racial equality but also to promote gay rights as part of the post-apartheid reforms.

A democratic socialist, Mandela was "openly opposed to capitalism, private land-ownership and the power of big money". Influenced by Marxism, during the revolution Mandela advocated scientific socialism, although he denied being a communist during the Treason Trial.

Biographer David James Smith thought this untrue, stating that Mandela "embraced communism and communists" in the late 1950s and early 1960s, though was a "fellow traveler" rather than a party member.

In the 1955 Freedom Charter, which Mandela had helped created, it called for the nationalization of banks, gold mines, and land, believing it necessary to ensure equal distribution of wealth. Despite these beliefs, Mandela nationalized nothing during his presidency, fearing that this would scare away foreign investors.
This decision was in part influenced by the fall of the socialist states in the Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc during the early 1990s. Tributes to Nelson Mandela, the legendary politician and freedom. I wish we can have our own Mandela in Nigeria.

Nigeria and its leaders lacks almost all of Madiba's qualities, their only aims are to enrich themselves, own lands and their dubious characters are difficult to point out. They are professional thieves, enemies of national of progress and knows nothing rather than sucking human blood.

The soul of Madiba will surely lie perfectly in rest, he has definitely escaped being in hell since he wasn't involved in Nigeria's leadership. Nigeria's top Government officials are one of a kind, they only exist in Nigeria where corruption has been established as Grand Commander of the Federal Republic and are completely heartless.

From 1960 to date, nothing real has been achieved when talking about dividends of Democracy. The Military dictators has recorded more achievements than the so-called government of the people by the people and for the people. In Nigeria, democracy is simply a demonstration of craze by some selected cowards, opportune to be appointed by their Godfathers to exhibit their foolishness and never by the people nor to the people.

Once they maneuver into national leadership, the first objective is to enrich themselves, their families, close friends and relatives. Their Godfathers most also be given opportunities and rooms to get big money as a way of compensation paid for installing them in national business against the wishes of the electorates.

Under President Jonathan, Nigeria has totally achieved nothing interms of developments, nothing beneficial did his leadership came with nor did any capital project rather added sufferings to the common man and shows no sign of delivering any.
If I am to rate this government, I will simply say: from where? Because no compass can measure the direction of progress achieved under Jonathan regime as it lacks magnitude neither direction, it has no latitude nor does it has altitude.

Jonathan will forever remained the dullest President Nigeria has ever witnessed. Gudluck Haram as he's called, has demonstrated his inability to govern Nigeria and his ineligibility to manage its resources. Corruption is now a cardinal principle and one among the pillars in Jonathan's Government.
It's important we call a spade a spade and not a farm implement. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, is the most corrupt President Nigeria has accidentally accommodate.

To prove me wrong, he should openly refute all allegations of corruption leveled against him and further substantiate that with a real fight against corruption, not the usual way of deceiving Nigerians as in the case of Aviation Minister Stella Oduah who miraculously bought two BMW cars at a price of a Tokumbo Jet.

Just recently, about N800 Billion was said to be missing from Excess Crude Account. Shortly before 2011 general elections, about N2.7 Trillion was stolen in the name of subsidy. And recently, N500 billion was said to be missing from SURE-P account. These do not include the N8 Trillion stolen directly from NNPC and official oil theft of four hundred thousand barrels per day.

Just between 2011 and 2013, over N7 trillion unfulfilled budgetary allocations and trillions in security votes could not be accounted for; totaling over N14 Trillion stolen from the people of Nigeria in less than three years. These amounts does not include the amount stolen in the guise of restoring power, neither does it include the amount stolen from the privatization of national assets including NEPA. The more money the nation made, the more poorer the people became. Hmm!! Only in Nigeria we heard money has wings, they walk on their own and fly away.

It's still is a mystery how the cost of subsidy shot up to N1.3 Trillion in just one year of Jonathan's administration, especially since ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo's administration spent N300 billion per year.
When the Obasanjo government left power in 2007, the country was no longer in debt and the $30 billion foreign debt that Obasanjo met when he came to power in 1999 was fully paid off. Today, under the administration of Jonathan, the country owes debt to the tune of $30 billion and is still borrowing.

What baffles me is that in the midst of these, the leadership had mischievously gone ahead to share some huge funds in the name of Excess Crude revenue when it should have stored it up for the coming year Foreign reserves that have been depleted from $80 billion during the Obasanjo administration to N33 billion under the administration of Goodluck Jonathan. Wow!! Mandela indeed.

It was reported that when the Obasanjo administration left power in 2007, $23 billion was left in the Excess Crude Account after he built it up from nothing in 1999; by January 2012 the account was empty because the money has been squandered and the account scrapped. What a transformation.

Hiring talkative to call you Mandela is never professional, nor does it make any sense, neither a way of attracting cheap popularity but a national disgrace of oneself, and a presidential foolishness. Kidnapping someone's name and gluing it to you will never overshadow the negative image you painted yourself.

To become a Mandela, you required integrity and devotion to render selfless services to man and humanity. You need to be patriotic and God fearing, you should set aside any political segregation and face the challenges of your dear nation.
To become a Mandela, you have to fight for your masses freedom not captivating them. You have to shun corruption not promoting it. Fight injustice not cultivating it, build unity not destroying it. Before you become Madiba, honesty must be your guidance not rascality.

Becoming Madiba is never a day job, nor does it have room for deceivers. No democratic dictator who packages his country in a foil, put under lock and key in a deep freezer (even in the kindergarten) can childishly compare his so-called self to any National Icon like Nelson Mandela after all the promises he failed to fulfills.

Madam!! Call your best couple to order, as long as you want him to be remembered like Mandela. Teach him how to be patriotic, tutor him on what honesty means, show him how to become a leader not a boss, lecture him on loyalty, instruct him to respect Nigeria, force him to fight corruption, motivate him to be dedicate himself to his fatherland, bend him to obey the rules of engagement, command him to cultivate justice, order him to deliver his objectives, hold him not to be inpatient and discourage him from covering up criminals and looters.

Although, one can't tell if Madam Lazarus poses any the above qualities, but she may be lucky to have gotten some because i heard a legislator calling her Jesus Christ. Nawa o!! It's absolutely barbaric for people to address criminals with honest and respectable names, it's a great mistake and only criminals can honour criminals in such embarrassing fashion. No wonder birds of the same feather, flew together.

Madam!! It's your duties and responsibilities to make your husband a great leader, it's for your own good and happiness to see your husband leaving behind his manhood for Nigeria similar to the one left by Chief Ojukwu. Hmm!! Let me pause here before Dame Jonathan impatiently landed on me but to be frank, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan must emulate some qualities and characters similar to Nelson Mandela.
Viva Mandela!!! Viva Madiba!!!

Ask Ebele, What Offence Did Nigerian Youths Committed?

Nigeria has finally announced it intention to bar commercial motorcycles from operation nationwide. This government has lost it bearing and fast driving Nigeria and it abundant talent to graveyard. A living hell like Nigeria with millions of unemployed youths challenging for a top spot in world ranking of the highest nations with almost zero probability of getting a jobs, is said to be looking set to endanger itself by rendering it youths invalid without any means of livelihood.

Commercial motorcycle driving better known as Okada or Achaba is the leading employer of labour and source of survival to millions of youths with no access to jobs, electricity, security, clean drinking water, good roads, qualitative education, hygienic environment, farm input, healthcare and infrastructure.

Okada has been in operation for many decades now, providing Nigerians with basic needs than any known establishment. Okada has proven to be the top employer of labour more than the Federal Government itself with all state governments combined. I wonder how any responsible government that failed to create employments for it citizens will relieved them off theirs?

This government is so deaf and dump in all aspects of human development since it inception.

With the way things are moving, there must be a doubt if this current administration will be a successful regime. Nothing fruitful if not one (availability of pms) has ever been recorded from the fish brains in leadership and shows no sign of recording any. They are simply ninconpoops and devilish minds ready to destroy the foundations of Nigeria's founding fathers and disunite the long togetherness Nigeria and it people enjoys.

For any reasonable government to implement any national measure, those measures must be tested severally before implementation. Only tests that yielded desirable results aligned with national interest which must be of benefits to all citizens are implemented. But never in Nigeria, where measures are implemented based on personal and selfish interest.

Once you are giving a chance or selected to participate in leadership, You automatically became above the law, giving you the right to direct, command, mandate, instruct and implement whatever nonsense you thought of in beer parlours and your words are final like a revelation from above, you automatically became a living God.

Nigerian government failed to reason and learn from mistakes in many states that imposed ban on commercial motorcycles and the dangers it engulfed.

Let's use Kano State as a case study. Imagine the consequences in it and the dangers that will befall Nigeria very soon.
Achaba was banned in Kano state by the present administration about a year and half ago to curtail the rising cases of insecurity in the state. The state government imported more than one thousand commercial tricycles (Keke Napep) and distributed to various youths across the state to ease the transportation problems as a result of the absence of Okada and generate employments for the unemployed Okada riders that lost their jobs.

The government also bought about one thousand brand new Toyota Corollas for use as Taxis to replace Okada in the state. An institute of agriculture was commissioned alongside institute of security and sport in order to accommodate the teaming unemployed youths.

A skills acquisition center was also established where the Ex-Okada riders will be trained on various skills to be self reliant. But all in vain.

The city of Kano as at today, is home to all sorts of crimes, criminals stationed in all parts of the ancient city, mostly in the city centers where commercial activities are done.

A densely populated city like Kano ( being the highest populated state in Nigeria revealed by the 2006 national census) houses more than 1.6m registered commercial motorcycle riders and numerous unregistered riders.
Based on the outcome of our survey, the banned on Okada in Kano state rendered more than two million youths jobless.

Kano state government in its effort, distributed 1000 cars and more than 1000 tricycles to replace Okada and employ the youths feeding from it. A skills acquisition centers which trained thousands of youths alongside institutes of agriculture, sport and security.
All efforts by Kano state in training its youths to be self reliant didn't yield any desirable result.

The number of jobs created by Kano state government is nothing compared to the number of jobs lost due to the banned on Okada. The thousands job opportunities that were created can't match the over two million jobs that were killed.

Based on the final outcome of our research in Kano state. It's on record that the banned on Okada have resulted to over two million cases of divorce across the state in just two years due to lack of means by many men to cater for the needs and well being of their families. The banned on Okada is primarily the genesis of nearly 96% of the whole cases of divorce, because commercial motorcycle employed about two million of their husbands and they all depends on it for their day to day activities and is their only source of livelihood.

Crimes in the city are now at their highest peak, youths roamed the streets day and night without any sign of hope in search of what to eat, the government has failed to empower the vast number of youths it sacked off their jobs.

Their motorcycles are only used for evening shows or in criminal activities but never for business again, they are now nearly as useless and unproductive as a doormat.

Security of lives and properties has never been giving any priority from those in leadership rather than the growth of their bank accounts. Security is now a booming business sector where billions are bumped in everyday to tackle the menace of insecurity but ended up in someone's pocket.

Unaccountable billions ment for the funding of security forces and security operations are stolen every night with nothing giving to the appropriate channel. To my astonish, the whole security lapses are blamed on commercial motorcycle riders. What a tragedy.

You must concur with the fact that banning Okada in the trouble states of Borno and Yobe for the past 3 years since 2010 didn't record any success as nothing positive has been achieved as a result.
Heavy explosion and gunshots are heard everyday without Okada operating in the regions for more than three years.
Did banning Okada in Plateau State stopped the long existing crisis in the state?
Kaduna State also banned Achaba a year back or so, but later recalled them back to operations for reasons best known to them.
No state in Nigeria has recorded any success in trying to curve Okada out of their system for many useless security measures.

If at all justice is done, commercial motorcycles may never be a national issue. The best way for an improve security situations and reduce crimes in any habitat is to have God in mind, deliver justice and equal treatment to all regardless of ethnicity, cultural or religious dimension without any sentiment or politics.
Good governance and accountability will forever remain a tool in fighting insecurity.

Immorality and Illiteracy is among our major national deficiencies. High level of corruption always lead to oppression against the electorates, which in returns may force the oppressed masses to revolt and seek for their freedom.

I kept wondering why will any nation vested too much powers to some few corrupted opportunists that knows nothing compared to the taste of local gin (Ogogoro)? They own so much powers and immunity, giving them privileges and rights to loot the nation's treasury and remain untouchable. Are they above the law?
They feels too powerful, thinking they are heroes, not knowing they are nobody but a bunch of fools, a syndicate of unforgiving devils and products of a corrupt marriage.

They controlled and occupied all the national resources and can alter with it on selfish interest with little or non auditing from supervisory agencies once they are compromised.
Our so-called leaders are sucking the nation dry, they operate and manage the national resources like their fathers businesses at same time transferring whatever profit gained into their offshore accounts abroad and the capital itself is not secured.

Many developed countries strengthened their economy using Nigeria's stolen wealth while our economy is back sliding every count of the clock without any sign of kicking up not to talk of acceleration.

What only bothers to them is the welfare of their wards, their children's education, the exotic cars their girlfriends wanted, the kinds or designs of mansions they saw in the UK, safety of the jets hanging in their air wings, which designer suite to wear, which country to go shopping, which jet to use for holiday travels, which island has the most beautiful babes, how much to keep at home for domestic needs and how much to keep for their colleagues (Armed Robbers) in case they came knocking.

History will save it that the most greedy, wicked, corrupted and selfish humans evolved in Nigeria. Their ancestral origin and inherited characters still remained unknown, as no one could tell where they inherited their corrupt characters.

Generations came and go, each generation exhibits some certain characteristics and features in common with many generations before it. Ours is a generation of blood suckers, a people of mischief, envy, disaster, corruption, violence, hatred and all sort of criminal activities. Only God knows the barbaric generation that passed on this rotten and devilish characters to Nigerian leaders as Only Him (God) can tell who the mother of a cameleon is.

One day for sure, Nigeria must inevitably be a living heaven for us or our successors, only if we rise to reject bad governance and sacrifice our lives for the betterments of our generations unborn. Surely, Nemesis must take it cause, now or later, either by men or by God.

Please take this to be an examination question.

(Q1). The ban on Okada operations in Kano state is now about two years old. Discuss it significances and the way it positively affect the lives of the poor people of Kano state?

(Q2). Assuming to be an adviser. In which way will you advice any state or nation at a stage of total security collapse with high rate of unemployment intending to ban Okada operations?

Pastor Oritsejafor Is Parading Christianity As A Bush Man's Dogmata By Usama Dandare

Let me shatter the glass houses most Nigerian Christians lives in including Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor. Contrary to earlier statements by Pa Ayo about Boko Haram and Islam, many of the Coordinated attacks are carried out by Christians not even Muslims. How on earth can Oritsejafor suggest Boko Haram as an Islamic movement toward eradicating Christians?

I am now beginning to doubt the genuineness of Oritsejafor's Christianity, he may be an agent of destruction against peace and humanity. He may well be doing the contracted assignment he was hired and paid for by his Oga at the top (give a dog a bad and hang it) that earns him a private jet, he must push hard to grab another gift this, time around may be a yacht.

Forget about Pa Ayo. Let me give you a few scenarios where Christians are caught black handed on the verge of an attack and prove Pa Ayo's allegations to be unholy.

It's on records, the number of many Christians whom were apprehended during the causes of their attacks with explosives and many weapons, some even arrested while trying to attack churches and yet Pa Ayo is busy calling Islam a terror group.

Sit up and read how Christians unleashed terror in Nigeria but yet, nobody seems to remember them because they don't belong to the critical party of interest.

* At least 138 youths were yesterday 3/10/2013 arrested from seven buses loaded with arms by men of the Taraba State Police Command, following intelligence report that they have been recruited by one of the orthodox churches that has a very large followership in the state for a malevolent purpose to attack police stations and government installations in Taraba State. Had it been the mission of this youths and their Churches were accomplish, no authority in this world will erase the names of Boko Haram and Islam in this evil plans.

* On the 1st Oct. 2010, the independence day bombing was the first major bomb attack witnessed in Nigeria with MEND claiming responsibility. Are MEND fighters Muslims? Ask Pa Ayo.

* A BBC documentary on the 29th Sept 2011, released videos of 28th of August 2011, as Birom (Berom) Christians in Plateu State were recorded eating human flesh of Muslims they had killed and roasted.

* Another on the 26th Feb. 2012, nine  christians were apprehended when they  attempted to bomb a COCIN church at Miya Barkate, 20 kilometres along Jos-Bauchi Highway in Bauchi State including a former secretary of PDP in the local government. Are this nine terrorist Muslims?

* Again on the 23th June 2012, four Christians were arrested trying to plant a time bomb at Waje Friday mosque in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano.

* The suspects that sprayed bullets on the Gombe Deeper Life Church worshipers of which the suspects arrested were Igbos and Christian.

* There was also the Gombe township bombing which involving two men, named Hassan Ojudu and Samaila Yakubu, all of them Christians.

* Another woman Miss Lydia Joseph, a Christian prostitute also arrested while trying to attack St. John Catholic church in Bauchi.

* Also arrested was a Christian named Emmanuel King, who disguised as a Muslim wearing a turban and kaftan, attempting to bombed down the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Yenagoa the Bayelsa state capital.

* There was also the arrest of one Madam Ruth trying to bomb down the ECWA church in the Kalarin area of Kaltungo in Gombe State who is also a Christian.

* On January 11, 2012 two Nigerians named, Sunday Eze from Anambra State and Samuel Taiwo from Ogun State and some three Ghanaians were arrested in Ghana with some heavy weaponry carefully concealed in a truck, which was to be brought to Nigeria. May be the Sultan sent Sunday Eze to buy arms that will be use in killing Christians.

* On Tuesday, April 10, 2012 a 38 year old man named Monday Davou, a Christian was arrested while planting a timed Improvised Explosive Device (IED) or time bomb, at the Makera weekly market in Riyom Local Government Area, Plateau State.

* The DAILY SUN newspaper of Monday, February 20, 2012 on page 12 reported the arrest in Akure, Ondo State of a gang of five armed robbers led by one Evangelist Wale Adelu, an evangelist of one of the old generation
churches, which has branches in the state capital and they were said to be meeting in his church before they proceeded on any robbery operation. Wouldn't this evangelist and his gang agree to bomb churches for a fee?

* Similarly, the SATURDAY SUN newspaper of Saturday, March 10, 2012 on page 10 reported that 11 cartons of explosives imported from South Africa and carefully packaged to beat security checks were intercepted by the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. The consignments were said to be for Miero Marble Granite and Stones Limited in Kaduna State, with one Michael Awara Ernest as the representative to collect the explosives at the cargo terminal. I think Pa Ayo wasn't aware of all this Christians involved in Boko Haram operations.

* The THISDAY newspaper of Friday, January 13, 2012 on page 6 culled a news report from the BBC in which a British-based arms dealer, Gary Hyde was being prosecuted in a London court for unlawfully arranging the shipment of about 80,000 guns and 32 million rounds of ammunition from China to Nigeria in 2007. But, the big question is, to whom did he make his shipment? To Muslim radicals or to churches going criminals?

* On Sunday, February 19, 2012. Four Christians were arrested while trying to detonate explosives at the St. Theresa's Catholic Parish, High-level in Makurdi the Benue State capital.

* A Christian was also arrested while trying to drive past the gate of Thisday office with loaded explosives in his car at Kaduna.

* On the 29th May 2011, about four Christian women were arrested in connection with the Mami market bombing of Artillery brigade barracks in Bauchi state.

* On the 21st May 2012, a Christian called John Akpabu, a suicide bomber who targeted ministerial briefing, arrested with 37 rounds of live ammunition and 3 hand grenades and other explosives at the National Press Centre, Radio House in Abuja.

Why is Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor as a religious leader trying to instigate violence among Nigerians? On what basis is Pa Ayo saying Muslims created Boko Haram in order to kill Christians? Is this not a concrete evidence to show Nigerian Christians that Boko Haram isn't all about Islam? Are this Christians involved in killing Christians and bombing churches contracted by Muslims to carry attacks on Christianity?

If Boko Haram is aimed at eradicating Christians, why are they not based in Anambra? Where Christians dominated. Is Anambra protected by divine powers that BH can't coordinate attacks there? If yes, I think the divine restrictions are not limited to kidnappers and armed robbers.

Why would Christianity be a focal point to Nigerian Muslims in abject poverty trying to earn a living? Is Maiduguri and Yobe the only northern states with Christians population? Why not Kebbi and Niger states that are having Christians as indigenous settlers?

Isn't better for Pa Ayo to concentrate on the current problems facing Nigeria today than utterances aimed at igniting violence? Resident Doctors and university lecturers are on strike and Pastor Oritsejafor is there saying Nigerian Christians are treated as second class citizens.
If care is not taken, Pa Ayo Oritsejafor will do to Nigeria more harm than Boko Haram itself.

I don't know the reasons for Pa Ayo's continual opposition to non profit banking. Nigerians across religious lines appreciates the value of Islamic banking, Oritsejafor kept fanning an ember of discord on it by claiming that Islamic banking was targeted at Nigeria Christians.

He seems to have forgotten that the whole idea of Islamic Banking in Nigeria was initiated as a matter of policy by Lamido’s predecessor in office, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo (a Christian), and that the operating officer in charge of that window is Tunde Lemo also a Christian both of whom are alive and in Nigeria today.
If Islamic Banking is aimed at Christianity in Nigeria against which religion is it aimed in Europe, America and Asia where it is, being championed by Christian, Buddhists and Hindus? How can a sincere religious leader concocts lies and misrepresent a general fiscal policy being implemented in many countries as a design against Churches in Nigeria?

I am also astonished by Pastor Oritsejafor’s continual jibes against Islam and Muslim leaders with the aim of heating up the polity thereby aggravating religious tension in the country.
Hear the utterances of a so-called religious leader against an opposition politician. Oritsejafor had this to say, “He (Buhari) is, therefore, the prime leader of this religious and blood thirsty sect called Boko Haram, a movement that is based on a warped interpretation of a strict adherence to force people of other religions into Islam.

“This kind of fundamentalism is the driving force behind his failure in each election in the country.” so shameful.

In the Ortisejafor School of thought, it is worse apostasy for a Bishop to be found in the congregation of Muslims. The two religions, though founded by children of the same father, do not see eye to eye. I must salutes Pastor Oritsejafor's rapacious accuracy with which he determines the number of Christians killed in Boko Haram blasts when the flames are still smouldering.

Before Pa Ayo tell me he's a man God, let him first publishes the income and expenditure account of his ministry for the last three years as well as that of CAN in at least five Nigerian newspapers, he should also bring evidence of any evil servant he has preached to and made to renounce corruption or any arm robber he has made to renounce stealing and murdering people.

Pa Ayo has for a while been saying that Boko Haram is a plan crusade against Christianity. That Muslims are set to Islamatice the north and kill all northern Christians, saying that was the reason why Muslims founded Boko Haram just to wipe out Christians. To my surprise, many Christians believed this clueless misinterpretation of Islam by Pastor Oritsejafor not knowing it's just a plan to impose hatred toward Islam and Muslims.

Boko Haram will never be an Islamic group, they are simply deployed to terrorise Islam by unknown evils probably with the likes of Pastor Oritsejafor. Boko Haram is a terrorists group hiding under the shed of Islam to execute disastrous attacks on lives and properties irrespective of tribe or religion and their fighters comprises people from different backgrounds and religious borders.

Enough of this useless and pointless allegations by Pastor Oritsejafor against Islam. The Federal Government and the leadership of Nigerian Christians should as a matter of fact call Pastor Oritsejafor to order, before he destroys the little unity remaining in Nigeria today. He and his evil plans should be put to a halt before he escalates a crisis that Nigerian forces can't handle and control.

Tributes To Apo Squatters By Usama Dandare

"Oh, no. It costs a lot more than your life. To murder innocent people?" "It costs everything you are.”
― Suzanne Collins, Mockingjay

It's no longer news that Nigerian forces had turned to murderers overnight. Comfortably killing innocent citizens, destroying their properties, rendering several children orphans, their mothers widows, all in the name of fighting terrorism. Many episodes of government forces involved in civilian killings and all sort of crimes against humanity has been recorded in Nigeria without any attempt to prosecute the offenders by the government as in the case of Zaki-Biam, Odi, Bayelsa, Baga, Bama e.t.c, which left death several souls in hundreds.

The latest of this practice was the massacre of self employed commercial tricycle drivers known as Keke riders in the capital city of Abuja on the 20th of September 2013 at Bamanga Tukur street in Apo legislative quarters leaving nine unarmed innocent youths death and about seventeen critically injured.

This strange development broke out on a Friday morning after some uniform military forces stormed an uncompleted building where this innocent youths squat at night. They were given a five days quit notice to vacate the building but all of a sudden, they were unlawfully attacked and slaughtered by government forces even before the expiration of the quit notice.

The security personnels claimed to have been engaged in a shot out by terrorist in that building and had earlier been informed by informants the presence of rebels occupying the building. What's left unresolved was if the forces were mislead or giving wrong information or target? Or may be they were giving wrong location and details.
This irritating action proved the unprofessional manner in which Nigerian forces operate and the untrained pattern in which they carried out their modus operandi. They quickly took action without proper investigations, they cowardly acted base on rumours and unprofessional report. What hanged on my thought was how government forces continuously denied been involved and pretend to have came under attack and acted on self-defence with unarmed innocent youths.

It's only in Nigeria were security forces engaged a gun battle with unarmed civilians. It's totally false the earlier claims by security operatives that this innocent Keke riders are terrorists, they are simply poor day labourers who work in the city to make ends meet, and later squat in uncompleted buildings by paying the guards attached to those buildings.

It was true that nothing associated with arms were found in the building which may attracted such retribution, the only items found in their possession were sleeping mats and cooking utensils belonging to the squatters as well as blood splattered on the walls of the building from the unusual attack on innocent civilians by the Nigerian military claiming to be fighting Boko Haram.

It was indeed a most wicked massacre of nine innocent helpless Nigerians, whose only offence was being so poor and never got the chance to criminally enrich themselves. The motives behind this atrocity has still remained unknown and the faces behind this massacre still remained unidentified. What all of us knew is that, the attackers are genuine security personnels serving under the Federal Republic Of Nigeria. The National Assembly has setup a committee to investigate and come back with a report in few days, but i promise you will never hear the outcome of the final report by the committee, it will flourish as all other investigations before it.

When will this kinds of barbaric acts end in Nigeria? In the last ten years only, unaccountable number of killings have been executed by security agents and if i can recalled, never has the government prosecuted or arrested any of the killers but always denied the doing such and the forces pretended to have acted on self-defence. Nothing was ever done to court marshal any security agent involved in civilian killing. Instead, they got promoted and rewarded for killing an innocent citizen. Human life in Nigeria has became meaningless, value for life and properties was never giving any priority to that of an ant. We are now living in a mini hell, what a nation.

We are calling the attention of International Communities, Human right Organisations and all affected agencies. There are several humanitarian crisis, civilians deaths and casualties, violations of the international human right laws and serious crimes against humanity in Nigeria by security agents and the government is doing nothing to protect its citizens. The international communities should as a matter of urgency, intervene to save the lives of many poor Nigerians and the human right organisations should take legal actions in other to halt this ugly fashion.

It's also time for Nigerians to set aside their individual differences being them ethnic or religion and unite to fight for their freedom. To sustain national growth and peaceful co-existence, all hands must be on desk to check mate the current sabotage planned against Nigeria's unity. Fear must be wash out from our minds and confront bad governance, we shall all be willing to sacrifice our lives for the betterment of our dear nation. For our generations yet unborn, we must revolt against any activity aimed at destabilising our national developments, we must chase evils out of leadership and replace them with patriotic minds who can set our country back on tracks.

This poor Nigerians has been killed and they are gone, they will only be remembered by their families and friends but never by the Nigerian government. They will surely receive divine favours by their Creator, their faces will forever remains in the minds of their love ones. We prayed for a peaceful resting to their souls, we asked God's anger to befall their killers and undoubtedly, God will punish all behind their deaths, if not now, in the hereafter. For the lucky ones to have escaped death but critically injured that are currently receiving medications on hospital beds, we wished them quick recovery and prayed they will not take arms against the government to revenge the killings of their brothers. May the souls of the departed rest in peace. Ameen

Centenary Anniversary, Celebrations Of A Divorced Marriage, Fools At 100 By Usama Dandare

It's by no way wrong for any couple to celebrate their 100th year of peaceful coexistence with excellent history and fruitful union. The 1st of January 2014, marks the 100th year of forceful merger between the Northern and Southern protectorates and the birth of Nigeria. Ours is simply a celebration of a failed nation. Nigerian Government is preparing to throw up a huge rascality and a jamboree to celebrate a century of misfortunes and accidental union. An act which translates the silent meaning of transformation agenda, looting. The feast amounts to a celebration of mediocrity. It is therefore unnecessary and a waste of resources, it has no significance in the amelioration of the challenges of Nigeria's nationhood.

In 100 hundred years, we have become an example of the ruination of a nation with a bright prospect. At amalgamation and even at independence, Nigeria had bright prospects for the black race and for Africa but 100 years down the line because of the mismanagement and misrule of our past leaders, the country today is a shame. We are lagging behind in every sphere and all global indices now. The country is being robbed by insecurity – today 70 per cent of our people live below poverty line; all our infrastructures have collapsed at 100.
We are a divided people; and the government is using divide and rule to govern the country. We are besieged by all manner of crises and the life expectancy is 51 years. In every sphere of human live, we have lagged behind and corruption has become our grand commander in chief at 100. The ruling elite have lost the sense of shame; they are totally bereft of any sense of responsibility that they will think the next line is to celebrate.

What are we celebrating? We are celebrating the failure of a nation, it is a big shame that even at 100, we are bogged down by leadership that cannot appreciate the situation of things on ground. They cannot realize that what we need is a sober reflection of how we have lived and lost our chances. We are now rolling out the drums and it shows that there is no redemption for the country. The way forward is for Nigerians to take their destiny into their hands, they must reclaim their country and to know that our salvation is not in the hands of the ruling elite. They must take their destiny in their hands because the ruling class does not have any vision for the country.
There is nothing to celebrate as far as centenary is concerned, government just wants to waste billions of Naira for nothing.

Many are poor while the few are getting richer by the day; many billion of Naira being stolen by the day by public office holders.  A nation cannot be built in this manner. You cannot talk of a nation when you don’t create opportunity for your citizens to excel; you cannot talk of a nation when many Nigerians are living poorly and in a bad condition.
I feel the Nigeria government should just forget about this celebration because a slave cannot be celebrating in it slavery.

The legality of the amalgamation is even a subject of questions. Based on a research conducted through the UK parliamentary archives by Tayo Oke Ph,D, it reveals that Lord Lugard presented a series of “reports”, one of which was published in May 1913 in which “the secretary of state has decided that the combined territories of Northern and Southern Nigeria, divided into two or more subsidiary administrations, shall be placed under the control of a single Governor-General...” .  Lugard had simply prevailed on the secretary of state to rubber stamp his wish to rule over a vast swathe of land which he had Christened Nigeria.  The next occasion of historical significance that took place in relation to this was when Lugard actually delivered the “amalgamation speech” on the “amalgamation day of January 1st 1914”. He boldly announced to the world, based on his agreement with the secretary of state the previous year, his ‘desire therefore as  briefly as possible to describe to his audience, and through them to the official and unofficial community of Nigeria the basis on which this Amalgamation is to be carried out..’  The basis, of course, was to facilitate the continued exploitation of the people and their natural resources. Let’s not forget, this was done as World War 1 was just breaking out, Parliamentary process was thus dispensed with. It is my submission, therefore, that a Nigerian court of competent jurisdiction can and should be given the opportunity to rule on the said Amalgamation. Committed eminent Nigerian lawyers could, if they choose to, seek a judicial review of the decision to amalgamate as soon as it is practicable to do so. A declaration that the decision is null and void should usher in an immediate convocation of a Sovereign National Conference (SNC) to give Nigerians the long awaited say on this most vexed of all issues.
Having said that, I can hear discordant voices saying: ‘leave well alone; let it be; the fraud was perpetrated long time ago; it’s an Act of God; it’s our destiny to be together, etc.  These voices are well meaning, but wrong in a fundamental respect. In 1707, the previously disagreeable Kingdoms of Scotland and England were merged together by King James (1), a Scottish Monarch, and was later ratified by Scottish and English Parliaments when they both met for the first time in October 1707. There lies the basis of the United Kingdom as we know it today.
Why was this precedent not applied to the Amalgamation of Nigeria over two hundred years later? Nonetheless, Parliamentary legitimacy notwithstanding, the “Act of Union” between Scotland and England has been a running sore in the hearts of many Scots for a long time. With its population of just over five million compared to England’s  fifty three million (or 84% of total UK population), Scottish nationalist leaders have long felt ‘sub-merged’ and ‘marginalised’ within the UK although, this may be more apparent than real to an outside observer.
Nonetheless, because this feeling runs deep, it was given political expression by the formation of the Scottish Nationalist Party (SNP) in 1934. Why can’t, for instance, Boko Haram be allowed to express their political grievances through a legitimate political party with the sole aim of establishing a Sharia state in the Northern region? Why not? Once you have feelings of ‘injustice’ running so deep, and being so visceral, it needs to be given democratic expression or, the people will resort to violence.
Anyway, back to Scotland. The SNP was berated and shunned for much of its early existence, until it gradually began to win the hearts and minds of the Scottish people.  It won its first Parliamentary seat in 1945, then, substantially increased its representation in 1974 with eleven Members of Parliament, before finally becoming the majority in Scottish Parliament in 2007. The party’s mantra since formation has remained full independence for Scotland and a break away from the UK. Guess what? The UK Parliament has now agreed a referendum of the Scottish people to take place in 2014 to determine whether Scotland should opt out of the UK and re-start life as an independent entity. The campaign has already started between pro and anti independence camps.  It promises to be lively and enlightening.  My haunch is that there will be a narrow victory for those who wish to remain in the UK and the nationalist fervour would have been extinguished for the foreseeable future.  The question for us in Nigeria is why are we afraid of an open democratic debate about the terms of our existence as a state? Why is this type of debate encouraged in Western countries as a mark of political maturity and it is discouraged in our society as heresy? Why do we want to spend a trillion naira bringing out dance troupes and masquerades next year to celebrate the centenary of an amalgamation, which to all intent and purposes is a legal infamy? Our leaders appear to have taken leave of their senses with this one. Let’s hope common sense will eventually prevail.

We have not been happy in this country; we have not had a happy relationship with one another in this country, particularly between the north and the south. So, I don’t think it is a moment ordained for celebration. But it should not go unmarked because a major event, political, of great significance, occurred. I believe that what we should do at this stage, since the very future of this country is now in contention, is that instead of celebrating it, we should use it to reflect, to retrace and then, chart a way forward. That is what we should do.
The celebration is another illustration of foolishness of this country which does not know how to react in a particular situation. Instead of sitting down in a sober manner, appointing various groups and having various seminars to have various discussions on the way forward as a united country, we are celebrating. Celebrating what?
There is nothing to celebrate because Nigeria is almost a failed state right now. There is crises, there is Boko Haram, there is kidnapping, there is insecurity, infrastructural breakdown, everything is bad. So, there is nothing to celebrate. Those in government who are fueling arrangements for this celebrations are just trying to establish another avenue to loot our nation's wealth. They will embezzle our wealth, the masses will be paid to dance on the streets as part of the celebrations. They will simply be celebrating fools at 100 while their bank accounts will be turning to billions in 100ths. Thieves

Tributes To D.C A.A. Dandare By Usama Dandare

It is exactly 2920 days since the exit of my mentor, our role model, our hope and my pride.
The Tuesday of August 16, 2005 will forever be etched in the minds of my family members and our well-wishers, as one of the darkest day in our memories. Without any alarm, death got hold off the breath and freezes the body of my dear father A. A. Dandare (A Deputy Comptroller in the Nigerian Customs Service), his feet and palms where suddenly changed to a greener colour proving the absence of blood, his eyes where wide open but couldn't see any object, his mouth was open but his tongue can't say a word and his heart suddenly pause to pump. It will pump no more.

Due to complications surrounding his illness, he was taken to a Missionary hospital in Parakou, a bordering town in Benin Republic after visiting many hospitals both at home and abroad. With him was my step mom and his younger brother (my uncle).
He was immediately attended to by medical experts on duty and was admitted into the hospital. On admission, the doctors ordered he should have some rest and be giving time to relax, he should be serve a liquid meal when he woke up. He slept for a while and woke up after several hours, a liquid meal to be serve and he asked for pap rather than custard. My step mom plugged a kettle boiler to heat some water so as to prepare a pap for him. She turned to pour the boiled water into a container and took away her eyes off him for scarcely forty seconds. She turned back to found him on his hospital bed, peacefully gone to sleep -- but for ever. Inna Lil Lahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun! Inna Lil Lahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun! Inna Lil Lahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun.

Well wishers had thronged our residence in Kebbi State, with the aim of wishing him a get well message. Little did they knew, that he has already gone back to his creator thousands kilometers away from home. As if my mum knew that she will never set eyes on him or hear a word from his tongue, she decided to visit and pray for his quick recovery but it was already late, as he died many hours before she could arrived. She met our house like a paper market, full of people but zero sound with tears running down the chicks of every face she looked at, she joined the wagon and cried for the lost of a great hero. His corpse was brought home that same day escorted by Customs Officers in charge of Kamba border in Kebbi State and was buried immediately according to Islamic rights.

I left for a test that morning as a university undergraduate, my mom has gone to Kebbi to check on my dad health. I returned home from school and was very shocked to meet my Grandma alone at home telling me to leave for kebbi immediately where my family live except my mom and i. I rang my sister's mobile but couldn't reach her online, i rang almost everybody's phone but it was unreachable. I turned to my granny and asked what may be the reason for summoning me this late hours? Her reply was nothing as she looks shattered. I asked her for the second time then she said, your father's health is in a terrible situation, so your presence is needed immediately to be close to him.
I was still not satisfied with her answer considering the way she looks. I decided to pass a night before embarking on the journey.

I left immediately after dawn and arrived before the expected time, i covered the distance of about 2-3 hours in less than one and half hours. On reaching the junction of our street, everywhere was full of cars.
Hundreds of people hustling to gain entry into our house, a signal that alerted me something wrong must have happened.
Tears began rolling down my eyes, people began welcoming me even before my house, many greetings with condolence messages. My heart skipped and was about fainting before a friend held me up and sat me in his car to relax, he gave me some words of encouragement, he made me to recalled that God gives and God takes, every soul shall taste the bitterness of death, he said " the only thing you can do is to pray for his soul and ask God to grants him pardon and to look after your kinfolks" being me the second child in a family of thirteen. His words of encouragement gave me hardihood, his guts enable me to control myself and lower my body temperature.

I went to the house and stood quietly at the gate quietly. Wondering how on earth will i survive in the absence of my host? I geared up and entered the premises of my house. The first person i jammed was my immediate younger sister, she hugged me and started to cry, i can feel the wetness of her tears on my right shoulder. She delivered a message to me from our late father i will never in my life forgotten, she said
"Daddy said i should tell you to be praying for him, you should make sure all of us are united, you should forgive him what ever wrong he did to you as he has forgiving all of us. He said never shall any of us try to pathways with his brother, we should be our brother's keepers, we should not allow what he left as inheritance to separate us and that he loves of all us." I can't say anything rather than Inna Lil Lahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun, Inna Lil Lahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun, Inna Lil Lahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun (from Allah we came, and to Him we shall return).

She lead me to the palour where people that came to register their condolence are entertained. As we entered, everybody boasted into tears as soon as they set eyes on me. Many cried as they saw me because i am an image of the late Custom officer, i am exactly a carbon copy of my late dad. I raised up my head, and saw all the wall pictures of my dad turned backward. That made me to cry loudly until my step mom calm me down and asked me to join her in prayers, which we did together.
She served me breakfast, i couldn't eat because i've lost appetite for life in general. I washed my face and put on a dark shed to hide away my swollen crying eyes and sat on the carpet by the side of a chair where my Dad normally sit watching televised news.

Our house was filled up with women at every corner and at any visible location. As news of my presence began to circulate, people of all sort converged to soothe me over a great lost not only to me but to everyone linked with our family. I still don't believe i will no longer set eyes on him again because he was buried a day before i could arrived or even before i was informed, i felt like seeing him coming out of his apartment when ever i turned around and looked through his room. What triggered the sadness in my heart was i didn't even set eyes on my father's corpse, he left me without saying goodbye. Inna Lil Lahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. As the increasing number of people coming to sympathize with us got so huge that we can't longer received and accommodate them all, we decided to divide them into two. Men are to receive men at my dad's family house while women to receive women at my father's house.

I lead all men to our family house where we sat receiving visitors. People from all works of life are converging to sympathize with us over the exit of our breadwinner. I couldn't stop crying when ever someone condole me, i replied people with nodding my head instead answering Amen. My throat was dry, my spit has seized, my eyes were like that of an owl as a result of unstoppable tears, my nose was blocked. Where i sat was very sunny but can't even feel the scorching sun until someone told me to shift and sit in a shed or under one of the canopy.
I can't believe this to be true, i never imagine to live without my dad. Dad, you left me the time i needed you most, the time when life is becoming difficult to me, you left me when i was about to face the real challenges of this wicked world. As an undergraduate, the university days are the best moments someone needs attention and care, it's the best period any child requires funding, constructive advice, someone to lead him to the outside world where life was never easy and the time of increase responsibilities. This was the time God took him away from me. I love you dad but i know God loves you more, so He (God) took him away and he will never come back to me.

On the third day after his death (the three days mourning period), we all assembled with our sympathizers to pray for God's marcy, blessings, favours and trust upon him. We prayed for him, eternal peace and paradise, we prayed for God to grant him pardon to any of his wrong doings.
Before his death, he has instructed that all his children should be taken to the cemetery where he was buried to pray for him. We headed right away to the graveyard and walked straight to his resting place, prayers were massively offered and i marked a sign for me to identify his grave anytime i visited to pray for him. That was when i wished my dad farewell and thank God for the wonderful and beautiful life he gave him but was unable to hold tears on my eyes, tears all over my shirt.

I tilted down his grave and said, what have you done wrong to me that you asked for forgiveness?
I don't need to forgive you on anything, you have not done wrong to me on any issue. But as you requested, i have forgiven you on everything you ever did to me which i don't know any and never recalled what wrong you ever did to me. I waved him goodbye and stood on his side until i was pulled by an uncle who took me away to the car. I was forced to leave the cemetery by my uncles as i don't want to go away from my dad.

He was to us, as tires are to a car. He was to us, as blood is to human body. He was to us, as skin is to flesh. He was to us, as cement is to a block. He was to us, as elephant is to its sibling. He was to us, as tongue is to mouth. He was to us, as water is to life. He was to us, as water is to earth. He was to us, as sun is to green plant. He was to us, as spica is to the moon. He was to us, as oxygen is to life. He was to us, as brain is to human. He was to us, as health is to man. He was to us, as cloud is to rain. He was to us, as land is to crops. He was to us, as education is to the society. He was to us, as wealth is to the rich. He was to us, as engine is to a machine. Infact, he was our life. We will forever be painful over his death, no life on earth can replace his to us. We have now nothing as all what we have has gone back to his creator. You will never know how wicked people are until you lost your dad.

My father, has contributed immensely to the development of this nation. First as a teacher in a teachers college where he taught many of our expert now. He mentor many young men who has now turn in to be successful and contributed meaningful development to their societies. He was a patriotic citizen with discipline and a comrade. He was responsible or part of many achievements recorded in the Sokoto Teachers College, he played a very important role in developing the school to what it is today.
He was hard working and like to crack jokes, but he can change all of a sudden to his other part when ever something was done. He valued education than anything in life, he was religiously active and a hospitable man. You are the best dad ever and the best thing i had ever heard of, you death was the most painful and saddest event in my life.
When he was in the Nigerian Customs Service, he did his best to halt corruption where he can and introduce a fair system for all. He served in many borders, seaports and airports across Nigeria as a result of hard work and dedication. He was a devoted Custom Officer that raised to the rank of Deputy Comptroller until his death. A well intelligent father that chooses for his children the right way and later you must concur and realized his choice was the best. A man of wisdom, a hero, a brave man, charismatic and a faithful father. Until his death, he was serving with the Bauchi command of the Nigerian Customs. He earned a Bachelors Degree and a Masters before joining the Customs Service in the 1980s.

Today, we remember the life of a great man, a hero and an honest servant of God.
On behalf of my family, our family friends and all our well wishers. We are soliciting and begging for prayers to send to the soul of our dear father. We want everyone to join us in a special prayer session to ask God for forgiveness toward our beloved father. As we remember the exit of this devoted and selfless servant, please pause to pray with us.

(Allahhum maghfirlahu warhamhu wa'fu 'anhu wa 'afihee wa-akrim nuzuluhu wa was-si' mudkhalahu, waghsilhu bil maee wath thalji wal bardi, wa naq-qihi minal 'khataya Kama yunaq- qath thawbul abyadu minad danasi, wa abdilhu daran Khayram min darihi, wa ahlan Khayram min ahlihi wa zawjan khayrum min-zawjihi, wa adkhil hul jan-nata, waqihi fitnatal qabri wa 'Azaban nar)

O Allah! Forgive him and have Mercy on him and give him strength and pardon him. Be generous to him and cause his entrace to be wide and wash him with water and snow and hail.
Cleanse him of his transgressions as white cloth is cleansed of stains. Give him an abode better than his home, and a family better than his family and a wife better than his wife. Take him into Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave (and of the fire)
For Adults

(Allahum maghfir lihayyina, wa mayyitinaa, wa shaahidina, wa ghaa-'ibina, wa sagheerina, wa kabeerina, wa dhakarrina wa untha. Allahumma man ahyaitahu mina fa ahyihi 'alal Islami wa man tawaf-faytahu mina fatawaffahu 'alal imani. Allahumma la tahrima arjahu wa la tudhillana ba'dahu)

O Allah! Forgive our living and our dead, those who are with us and those who are absent, our young and our old, our men and our women. O Allah! Whomever you keep alive from us keep him alive on Islam, and whomever you take away from us, take him as a believer. O Allah! Do not leave us bereft of his good and do not send us astray after them.

(Allahumma inna A. A. Dandare fi dhimmatika, wa habli jiwaarika, faqihi min fitnaltil qabri, qa adhaban-naari, wa anta ahlul Wafaa'i wal-Haqqi. Faghfir lahu warhamhu. Innaka antal Ghafurur-Raheem)

O Allah! Surely A. A. Dandare is under Your protection, and in the rope of Your security, so save him from the trial of the grave and from the punishment of the Fire. You fulfill promises and grant rights, so forgive him and have mercy on him. Surely You are Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(Allahumma abduka wabnu amtika ahtaaja ila rahmatika wa anta Ghaniyyun an 'adhaabihi in kaana muhsinan fazid fi hasanatihi, wa in kaana musii'an fata-jaawaz 'anhu)

O Allah! Your slave, the child of Your slave is in need of Your mercy, and You are not in need of his torment. If he was pious then increase his rewards, and if he was a transgressor then pardon him.

May the soul of my faithful father continue to rest in peace and may he be among the favoured creatures in the hereafter. AMEN

Kindergarten President, Childish Handler By Nasir El-Rufai

Posted: 15 Aug 2013 06:55 AM PDT
I still recall how one of my sons behaved before going into kindergarten. He did not know how to share toys or food, threw tantrums whenever he failed to get his way or insulted his siblings or sulked when criticized. With years of parental effort at home, and intervention of handlers in nursery school, our son learnt the virtues of sharing, inclusion and getting along with those that he disagreed with.

I guess this is the experience of many parents. I have always wondered what manner of person would resort to abuse, bigotry and division when his or her conduct and utterances are interrogated, instead of simply responding in civilized language. APC chairman Bisi Akande’s characterization of Jonathan as a kindergarten president explained everything. And surrounded with equally parochial, morally-flexible handlers, one is bound to read the kind of falsehood that emanates from the likes of Reuben Abati from time to time.

It was Aeschylus, the ancient Greek dramatist who said, “In war, truth is the first casualty”. Thank God, despite the provocations of the Dokubos and the Clarks, Nigeria is not at war, but the presidency and presidential hangers-on have distorted democratic politics into some sort of warfare. President Goodluck Jonathan’s response to an interview I granted over the weekend is indicative that truth has become a casualty in his shoddy attempt to belittle the salient issues concerning Nigeria that I spoke about, and the weighty fact that the president is the promoter and apostle of ethnic and religious division of Nigeria, purely for political gains!

For the records, I was featured on Liberty Radio’s Guest of the Week where I spoke on a number of issues, including the fact that the proceeds from crude oil theft (as confirmed by the Bayelsa state governor, Seriake Dickson) were being used to procure arms to wage war on Nigeria in the event that Jonathan lost his re-election bid in 2015. I also stated that, “PDP has become a virus that is infecting and destroying the country because they are not doing anything productive. They have changed our politics into that of ethnicity and religion to divert attention from their incompetence, lack of capacity and looting of the treasury.”

Instead of addressing the issues I raised, presidential spokesman Reuben Abati chose to muddle the discussion and confuse the public. According to a report issued by Governance and Sustainable Initiatives Ltd., entitled Analysis and Lessons of the Current Geopolitical Distribution of Federal Appointments, the Jonathan administration is said to have favoured his home state of Bayelsa 200% times more than the next states with the highest federal representation – Delta, Edo and Anambra.

If Jonathan is not playing the ethnic card, can he possibly explain to Nigerians why Bayelsa which has the smallest population in Nigeria and the fewest number of local government areas, has more than double the number of federal appointees measured by population and weight of responsibility than that of the next state, whilst the most populous states of Lagos and Kano were at the bottom of the representation ladder. What is the president’s response to that?

If President Jonathan is not playing ethnic politics, why was he quick to exonerate those he called “my people” in the aftermath of the October 1st 2010 bombings in Abuja? Did Henry Okah, who was eventually convicted of the offence in South Africa, not reveal in court that he was contacted by a high-ranking official from the presidency who told him to implicate some northerners in the bombing?

A year later, after his highly divisive election, he told a delegation of the Ohaneze that he believed that the only votes he got from the North were from Igbo residents in the North. Are those the words of a patriot or an ethnic bigot? This was after an election where he received nearly 100 percent of all votes cast in the South South and South East states, in some cases getting more votes than there were registered voters or even residents. The presidency did not respond to these facts, but chose to distort the matter in order to sweep the issues under the carpet. It may interest the president to know that Nigerians are much wiser now and will not be deceived by the antics of a drowning president and his desperate aides.

The president, rather than responding intelligibly to my charge that Jonathan has a deliberately evil strategy of using religion to divide the country for electoral gains, decided it was story time, and proceeded to announce that the president also fasted along with Muslims. It may interest him to know that former president Olusegun Obasanjo also fasted while in office, but did not broadcast it for any political gain. Incidentally, fasting goes beyond abstaining from food and drink during daylight hours; it is an intrinsic spiritual contact between man and his Creator to strive for higher ideals including truthfulness, honesty and keeping promises. Which promise has Jonathan kept? Where is the integrity in this government? Where is the genuine fear of God when looting is the order of the day?

Nigeria, by the will of the people, is a secular state. But of all Nigerian leaders, no one except Jonathan makes policy proclamations from his place of worship. Perhaps, the irony is lost on the president, but not only is it religious politics to make policy statements before only a section of the populace, the implications of making those promises in the house of God, then refusing to fulfil them are serious. Are we not told not to take the name of the Lord in vain?

As testimony to the fact that truth has become a casualty in the presidency, Abati went beyond that and concocted a lie that I said Christians were behind the Church bombings that took place in Nigeria. I never said anything like that. All I wrote was that the late National Security Adviser to the president, Gen. Owoye Azazi, and a small group known to him, were behind the dastardly acts, and I pointed out the fact that the moment he was removed as NSA, the church bombings virtually stopped as mysteriously as they started. I would have expected the president to set up an independent panel to find out and tell Nigerians the truth about the horrific church bombings. Why the conspiracy of silence?

I am keen to know why the presidency chose to keep quite on my charge that President Jonathan is the godfather of the oil thieves. If that is not the case, how come oil theft jumped from about 100,000 barrels per day before his election to a staggering 400,000 per day now? Can Jonathan explain why he ordered the removal of recognised maritime security officials from the creeks and handed over pipelines and oil installations security to militants? In what country does a bank employ a former bank robber to guard its vaults? Is there not a grand strategy to ease oil theft and procure arms for the militants to use against their fatherland? Why is there no response to this issue?

In the interview, I mentioned that the vice president, Namadi Sambo left massive debts as governor of Kaduna state with little to show for it, the same attitude that permeates every facet of Jonathan’s government. Anyone in doubt should check with the Debt Management Office. Kaduna state has the second highest debt of all states in Nigeria, thanks to loans that Sambo pursued as governor for projects that no one can see on the ground. Kaduna is a short drive from Aso Rock, so Jonathan and his cohorts can take a quick drive to see things for themselves. Nothing beats personal experience.

One of the largest and longest ‘ongoing’ projects in Kaduna state is the Zaria Water Supply Project, which was awarded to Sambo’s company before he became governor. Though Zaria is his hometown, he did not complete the project as contractor despite payments, did not conclude it as governor despite his office and is today uncompleted, despite his position.

Up until last week, most of Zaria

Reject Major Al-Mustapha Or Nigeria's Jesus Christ Will Never Be Crucified By Usama Dandare

"whether you like or you no like, after you hear this little talk. If you like you good, if you no like you hang. If you hang you go die, you go die for nothing. We go carry your body go police station, you die wrongfully." (Fela Anikulapo Kuti)

For those undermining President Jonathan's abilities to manipulate elections, i must divulge to them if adequate measures were not install, he may surprise them come 2015 general elections. Mr Jonathan accidentally assumed power as the number one citizen and commander in chief of Nigerian armed forces as a result of the death of then his former boss and Nigeria's president Umar Yer'dua and later contested (for the first time in his life) the highest political office in this nation in 2011 and won an election many believed to be unfair neither free. On assuming power, all hopes and trust were mounted on his (jonathan) shoulders giving the fact that his predecessor (yer'adua) has some meaningful developments on the table to carry on with. Many Nigerians believed Mr Jonathan to be the long awaited messiah based on his campaign promises tagged as Transformation agenda but after about four years on power. What has he transformed?

One must assent with me, no any meaningful ontogeny this zoologist has added to his nation. If there's, name just three? This a challenge i am throwing to all pro-corruption Jonathanians, just mention three developments you think this government has recorded. There are many achievements which you and i knew, so when naming, they should be excluded not to suffer your keyboard please. I surmise jonathanians not to mention Jonathan's achievements like corruption, insecurity, unemployment, inflation, hunger, poverty, high level of illiteracy, huge investment in movie industry, awarding contracts to criminals, pardoning condemn criminals, looting our resources, sucking our country dry, lack of electricity, injustice, frustration, bribery, war with truth, bad luck, political tension, political rascality, division, malice between our governors, political thuggery, terrorism, malnutrition, failed promises, election rigging e.t.c. We all knew this developments, so count them out.

In all aspect of human and social endevours, this government can't be credited for any addition in the actualization of good leadership and any dividend of a democratically elected system. His government has demonstrated to the world, its weakness in conflict resolution, its lacking of policy coordination, its deformity in sense of reasoning, its continuation in corrupting the economy, its fragility in accepting the truth, its rascality in delivering goals, its ability in shattering dreams, its readiness in crippling hopes, its willingness in devastating lives, its shortcomings in foresight, its inability to work as a team, its invalidity in leadership, its inferiority in discipline, its meagerness in philosophy, its paucity in focus, its allergy to development, its privation of orientation, its marriage to bribery, its insufficiency in quality, its frustration in art, its scantiness of creativity in literature, its inability to deliver, its incapability to respond, its exigency in morality, its selfishness in friendship, its inequality in judgment, its immorality in governing, its destitution in policing, its scarcity in objectives, its depletion of visions, its extravagances in economy, its willingness to steal, its loss in aims and its deficit in magnitude or direction called Transformation agenda.

Despite all the failures of this administration in all areas of developments, they are still hoping to manipulate and rig the next general election by all means if they can, either by hook or by force. They have ironclad many plans that will saw them retaining power in 2015 and beyond against the wish of the electorates. They established a system of divide and conquer which seems to be working well in actualizing their evil hopes, they brought insecurity, they created an artificial poverty, they gave birth to dividing our unity, they devised ethnic differences, they fabricated religious politics, they forged hatred among us, they caused chaos in our polity, they concocted political differences, they designed an easy system to twist the minds our rural populace, they begeted artificial illiteracy in our locality, they authored violence within our cultures, they caused confusion in our daily affairs.
All their evil tactics are beginning to be in vain as they have began loosing popularity and even the locals has now began identifying their plots just to enrich their selves and their immediate families.

Now (northerners beware) they have came up with a good and a dubious plan (releasing Major Almustapha) to seize our mandate in the next election, this tactic is to deceive the north. I now know how intelligent and smart President Jonathan and his cohorts are but only on manipulation. The old version manipulator hired to chair their board of trusted people and the prophet they worships has given them a good strategy this time around, Mr Fix it has now fixed it right. This plan is a well thought style to deceive our local electorates but as God will have it, we are on out foot to destroy what ever fashion and style their designers designed for them. They wants to use this tactics in soliciting support and gaining popularity among northerners and northern region where they aren't sure of success giving the total awareness the northern electorates are now been impacted with on good leadership and meaningful democracy but unknown to them. Many northerners (especially the rural populations) may be happy with this plan unlike the southern population whom might not be pleased with it, so they still have the south to manage at a time we are busy crippling their evil plans.

Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, former CSO to then late Gen Sani Abacha who spent over 14years awaiting trial in Kiri-Kiri prison over several count charges including murder has over the years attracted supporters from all over the nation with northerners as the majority. He got support and love from many northerners based on the induced ethnic differences facing our nation in this trying time, many northerners loved him simply because he was too a northerner and thought he was detained by a southerner or the southerners that were on power didn't mind release him or refused gave him out on bail because he wasn't a Southerner, they just love him because of ethnic sentiment. Few groups among the northern elite and few southern portion claimed he was detained illegally and not according to the rule of law, he got support from some of this class based on sympathy and nothing sentimental or ethnicity while many southerners hated him for many reasons. Major Hamza Almustapha is said to be the 2nd person after Gen Mohd Buhari in the north in terms of popularity and supports.

This decision to quash his (Almustapha) case and discharged the earlier verdict which sentenced him with one other to death by hanging is purely political and nothing but politics. He was discharged and acquitted after more than 14years in prison custody without claiming any damage or compensation to his reputation and time wasting.
The main reason behind his release was to use the support and popularity he has in the north to reduce the expected number of votes Gen Mohd Buhari is projected to grab. Maj Almustapha is coming back to the north not as the Mustapha he left the north but as Almustajonathan, cause he is here to work for PDP's ambition to retain power in 2015, that is just the motive. He was giving a deal to contest in 2015 election to snatch some supporters from Gen Buhari's camp, which may reduces the high number of votes Gen Buhari is expected to gather in this coming election as such it may be easier to rig Buhari's victory and to snatch away our mandates.

Al-Mustapha has since started campaigning for President Jonathan's second term bid since his release from detention. As soon as he was discharged and became a free man, he headed straight away to pay homage to one of the most closest associate to Mr Jonathan and a key player in Jonathan's second term movement. After his meeting with their prophet, Al-Mustapha set on his journey en route Kano State aboard a private aircraft hired to convey him by the Oduduwa People Congress (OPC) who were sometime ago giving a contract of policing pipelines worth about N2.4 Billion by Jonathan's administration in company of their number one in command. On his return home with out even taking a rest with his family, has embarked on rallying round the nation from this state to the next in search of support, organizing youth rallies and hosting meetings with several youths groups and elders forums each state he visited. In some states, Al-Mustapha was driven in the same car with serving ministers in the Jonathan's cabinet during rallies. He was hosted to dinners arranged and funded by several frontiers of Jonathan's 2nd term bid, many of them attended the rallies in all states together with Almustapha.

Al-Mustapha is now seen as a political potential by the blind and one eyed men but a normal vision man sees him as a saboteur to the progress of Nigeria. If not a plot to dent the popularity of Gen Buhari, who is Al-Mustapha to be hosting meetings with political groups as soon as he was released from jail? How a person who claimed to be still in the military be organizing rallies with political organizations? What agenda does he has to be visiting state governors and chiefs in each state? Which book did he authored to be rallying round the country for signature signing? Why will he be going round educating people in choosing political leaders? Who is he campaigning for? Why was he accompanied by the people he was jailed for the murder of one of their most respected citizen if they were not instructed to do so from above? Why must he forgive a nation that detained him for 14years for no apparent reason as they claimed? Who is Al-Mustapha to jump out from prison and be campaigning state by state narrating his prison experiences? How on earth will a military officer be behaving like a born politician? Al-Mustapha has turned into a politician overnight with no political ambition. Who are you soliciting support for? Tell us now.

I am not a fortune teller, neither have i ever spoken to God and i never recieved any gift of prophetic powers disqualifying me of any prophesy but counts on my words. If Al-Mustapha isn't call to order, he will render all the laid foundations to get our nation out of all this whole mess invalid and the labour of our past heroes in vain. If adequate measures are not put on ground, Al-Mustapha is ready to dent all our efforts and Madam Lazarus may be resurrecting daily this time around, may be far from Germany. If the evil desires of Al-Mustapha were not put to a halt, Nigerian Jesus Christ may never be crucify in 2015 and the fisherman may still be unable to locate his lost fishing tools.

Unprofessional Feminism, Underage Marriage And The So-called Paedophile By Usama Dandare

I am fed up and bored of hearing this noise makers chanting anti child marriage slang all over the angles of my ears, all over the internet and on all medias (#childnotbride, #pennotpenis e.t.c.). Underage marriage is a problem in countries that have attained significant progress in fighting for the girl child rights not like ours that didn't even recognizes a male child. Instead of all this Feminist to be making noise around on underage marriage, there are series of practices and assaults on our girl child that are more deadlier and worst than underage marriage. They are publishing names calling on readers to see the full list of senators that clamour for Marriage to Nigerian Girl Child, irrespective of her age.
These the Senators that are giving license to Paedophile, Perverts and Sex Starved people to Destroy our Children In the name of Marriage. Are your children virgins?

They called it Paedophile (child marriage) which in real sense the word Paedophile doesn't mean what they reffered it to , unless they have other Paedophile apart from the one I knew. In scientific term where the word (paedophile) got it meaning is reffered to as a psychiatric disorder in persons 16 years of age or older typically characterized by a primary or exclusive sexual interest toward prepubescent children (generally age 11 years or younger, though specific diagnosis criteria for the disorder extends the cut-off point for prepubescence to age 13). An adolescent who is 16 years of age or older must be at least five years older than the prepubescent child before the attraction can be diagnosed as pedophilia.

The term has a range of definitions, as found in psychiatry, psychology, the vernacular, and law enforcement. The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) defines pedophilia as a "disorder of adult personality and behaviour" in which there is a sexual preference for children of prepubertal or early pubertal age. According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), it is a paraphilia in which adults or adolescents 16 years of age or older have intense and recurrent sexual urges towards and fantasies about prepubescent children that they have either acted on or which cause them distress or interpersonal difficulty. When has marriage which is a contract between to people and a religious right became a psychiatric disorder?

Look around your neighborhood, how many virgins can you count under the age of 15 around you? Do you know the number of teenage girls that are being dis virgin on Valentine day in our secondary schools and parks? Do you know how many house girls under the age of 12 are being sexually abused by their masters? Go to our schools and see how Teachers engaged in illicit sex with teenage students. Go to our female hostels and see how our big men, politicians, senators are organising sex parties with undergradute girls aboard their private jets or lexury buses. The owners of our strip clubs are well known who hired young girls to dance naked and entertained customers overnight, mostly under the age of 17. What have the Feminist done to put a stop to or stagnate this problem? What are the Feminist doing about the teenage girls hawking on our streets that are being sexually abused day and night in uncompleted buildings and parked vehicles in motor parks? What about our young girls engaging in all kind of illicit practice like lesbianism whom are well 14 and below? What are all this noise making Feminist doing about this issues? Go to our hospitals and most private clinics, 7 out of every 10 abortion performed is on girls mostly under the age of 18, to the extent of even a local chemist can perform abortion as low as N1500. Are all this irritating fashions not dangerous than underage marriage?

Can anyone ask this Feminist if they had ever visited our hotels and place occupied by female sex workers? You will be surprise to meet teenage girls working as prostitutes in those places, the owners of such hotels are well-known in the society. What have they provided in place to reduce the numbers of underage girls standing on the streets of Abuja, Lagos and most of our cities with half naked dresses offering sex for N300 - N500? Are the Feminist trying to tell me they didn't knew what's happening in our strip clubs? What effort have they made against that? Isn't a violation of the right of the girls child? Above all, the level of Girl child education in Nigeria is at it disappointing moment, what are the Feminist doing about girl child education?

When you say No to underage marriage, you must say Yes underage sex. You can actually stop teenage marriage but you can't stop teenage sex and teenage pregnancy, so the unwanted must occur. That's the main reasons why our dominant religions permitted teenage marriage, with the view to addressing teenage sex. It is well known to almost all that Islam not only allow but teaches teenage marriage in other to reduce the rampant practice of underage sex leading to underage or teenage pregnancy which may be harmful to the girl and her family history in any moral society. You prefer your daughter to be well grown up in your house before marriage for the fear of underage sex but unknown to you, your daughter has had three of four abortion while under your custody and you are hear causing havoc in the polity fighting for what doesn't even make sense in our society.

In Christianity and by the common Christian laws, the age at which minors were capable of marrying, known as the age of consent, was fixed at fourteen years for males and twelve years for females. marriages under the age of seven years for both were void, but between seven and the age of consent 14 for males, 12 for females the parties could contract an imperfect marriage, which was voidable but not necessarily void.
Although twelve was the general guideline, christian fathers were allowed to marry their daughters off even before that. Medieval christianity continued to maintain the age of twelve as a minimal age for females to enter into marriage. however, even this low age limit was not absolute. using natural law logic, catholic authorities argued that the decisive factor which determined a child's readiness for marriage and sexual relations was the onset of puberty, and not necessarily age as such. according to one catholic scholar, “if it could be satisfactorily proved that puberty . . . was actually attained by the boy before the completion of his fourteenth year, or by the girl before the completion of her twelfth year, then . . . the party could enter upon a valid marriage.”

Similar to jewish law, christian law differentiated between the minimum age of marriage and the absolute minimum age of marriage. Twelve years old was the minimum age of marriage, called the age of consent; in other words, a girl had to be twelve years old before should could arrange her own marriage. but the absolute minimum age of marriage was in fact seven years of age, during which time her father could arrange her marriage without her permission.

In the journal of psychology and human sexuality.
Age of consent throughout history has usually coincided with the age of puberty although at sometimes it has been as early as seven…the roman tradition served as the base for christian europe as well as the christian church itself which generally, essentially based upon biological development, set it at 12 or 14 but continued to set the absolute minimum at seven. in the past century there has been a tendency to raise the age of consent but the reasons for the change have not always been clear and the issue has been further complicated by the reluctance of many contemporary historians to recognize what the actual age of consent in the past has been. this failure has distorted the importance of biology on age of consent in the past.

Saint thomas aquinas, considered by catholics to be the greatest theologian of all time, wrote in the summa theologica:

If the parties are betrothed by another person i.e. the father before they reach the age of puberty, either of them or both can demur; where fore in that case the betrothal does not take effect, so that neither does any affinity result therefrom. hence a betrothal made between certain persons by some other takes effect, in so far as those between whom the betrothal is arranged do not demur when they reach the proper age, whence they are understood to consent to what others have done.

I was surfing the internet few hours past am yesterday, i came across an enlightened article written by a very dedicated young man on this same subject matter overheating our polity now called underage or teenage marriage and he elaborately pointed the marriageable ages many developed countries in the world approved for their citizens to enter into marriage contract and i quote:

"* Austria is 14 years for both sexes.

* Belgium, the man 18 years and the woman at 15 years.

* France, the man at 18 years, the woman at 15 years.

* Germany, the man at 18 years, the woman at 14 years.

* Greece, the man at 14 years, the woman at 12 years.

* Hungary - the Catholics, the man at 14 years, the woman at 12
years; the Protestants, the man at 18 years, the woman at 15
    years.

* Portugal, the man at 14 years, the woman at 12 years.

* Russia, the man at 18 years, the woman at 16 years.

* Saxony, the man at 18 years, the woman at 16 years.

* Spain, the man at 14 years, the woman at 14 years.

* Switzerland, the man at 14 years, the woman at 12 years.

* Turkey at puberty.

* United States, the man at 21 years, the woman at 18 years."

Then why only in Nigeria should our young girls be allowed to fade and got old at home before giving them out in marriage? Why only in Nigeria where virginity is no more a pride to our underage girls should marriage become a public debate? Are Nigerians the only people on earth practicing child marriage? Why can't we focus on malnutrition and leave marriage alone? Why can't the feminist concentrate on maternal mortality than focusing on constitution review? Why can't they introduce a method of addressing child killer diseases before jumping into marital affairs? Why can't the feminist build a nation free from all forms of female indecency before campaigning against what seems to be a moral cure for girls immorality?

If underage marriage should be barred, total absentance in teenage sex must be compromised in other to aid in halting sexual abuse on teenage girls which is almost impossible but as long as teenage sex is practice, i see no reason why teenagers will be denied their religious rights of marriage. The only ugly part feminist black painted in underage marriage is sex, they tagged underage sex as assaults and a crime against the life of a girl child but you can't stop that assault on the teenage girls in your neighborhood that aren't married and the high rate of unwanted pregnancy in teenage girls.

I am not in support or against any law or institution pertaining teenage marriage, all i know is the fact that our girls under the ages of 15 are involved in all acts of sexual practice and played a role that any 35 years old lady can play when it comes to sex, even worst than that. That shows they are up and equal to the task of making any decision on their own, enduring any pain a 35years old can endured, absorbing any pressure a well grown up lady can absorbed and are very active when it comes to sexual performance. So this girls should be allow to enjoy their religious rights and be free from any kind of restrictions since they too aren't complaining about it. Restrictions on teenage marriage will throw our teenage generations into what we never thought, our teenagers will begin to participate fully in active sexual routines more than what we could imagine. We should expect any well fed girl above puberty with access to internet and our modern day gadgets to be sexually aroused by many episodes of sexual events online and on televise devices. The way our young girls interact with men in their day to day activities either in schools, parks or somewhere else is another contributing factor leading to sexual arousal within our teenagers and certain societal influence may also be responsible for the huge demand for sex among our teenage girls. So the only way out in curtailing this ugly routine of underage sex is marriage at what ever age as soon as the girl have developed passion for sexual affairs. If not, you are on the verge of becoming a grandfather to a fatherless child, either alive or in sewage or pit latrines.
