The departure of President Jonathan to South Africa signaled another transformation agenda to Nigeria's Government account. As Nigeria must surely spend huge sum of money to cover all expenses by Mr. President and his entourage to Mandela's burial.
Mr. President's estacode with that of his delegation will cost Nigeria nothing less than what South African Government budgeted for Mandela's burial.
President Jonathan is known to travel with large contingents to foreign engagements. He was accompanied by a 600-man delegation to the UN general assembly some few months ago in New York. About two Month or so, a delegation of more than 800 men accompanied Him to the holy land of Israel for Christian pilgrimage. All expenses by Mr. President and his gang of thieves are well taken care of and paid from tax payers money.
Millions are extravagantly wasted on framed official engagements while our people continue to languish in hunger, insecurity, disease and squalor.
It's inevitable, this history must repeat itself to South Africa.
South Africa has welcomed a madman's delegation of big fat belly men with no credibility to exhibit. They are hosting the most inhuman people who bragged about corruption and will deliver nothing to South Africa. The only ones to gain are South African Breweries.
A delegation of mourners arrived Johannesburg accompanying President Jonathan to say farewell to Nelson Mandela, a great hero and a role model.
Madiba 95, plays a very significant role in fighting for the freedom of South Africa, leaving behind credible characters to emulate.
Mandela was an African nationalist, an ideological position he held since joining the ANC, also being "a democrat, and a socialist". Although he presented himself in an autocratic manner in several speeches, Mandela was a devout believer in democracy and abided by majority decisions even when deeply disagreeing with them. He held a conviction that "inclusivity, accountability and freedom of speech" were the fundamentals of democracy, and was driven by a belief in natural and human rights. This belief drove him to not only pursue racial equality but also to promote gay rights as part of the post-apartheid reforms.
A democratic socialist, Mandela was "openly opposed to capitalism, private land-ownership and the power of big money". Influenced by Marxism, during the revolution Mandela advocated scientific socialism, although he denied being a communist during the Treason Trial.
Biographer David James Smith thought this untrue, stating that Mandela "embraced communism and communists" in the late 1950s and early 1960s, though was a "fellow traveler" rather than a party member.
In the 1955 Freedom Charter, which Mandela had helped created, it called for the nationalization of banks, gold mines, and land, believing it necessary to ensure equal distribution of wealth. Despite these beliefs, Mandela nationalized nothing during his presidency, fearing that this would scare away foreign investors.
This decision was in part influenced by the fall of the socialist states in the Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc during the early 1990s. Tributes to Nelson Mandela, the legendary politician and freedom. I wish we can have our own Mandela in Nigeria.
Nigeria and its leaders lacks almost all of Madiba's qualities, their only aims are to enrich themselves, own lands and their dubious characters are difficult to point out. They are professional thieves, enemies of national of progress and knows nothing rather than sucking human blood.
The soul of Madiba will surely lie perfectly in rest, he has definitely escaped being in hell since he wasn't involved in Nigeria's leadership. Nigeria's top Government officials are one of a kind, they only exist in Nigeria where corruption has been established as Grand Commander of the Federal Republic and are completely heartless.
From 1960 to date, nothing real has been achieved when talking about dividends of Democracy. The Military dictators has recorded more achievements than the so-called government of the people by the people and for the people. In Nigeria, democracy is simply a demonstration of craze by some selected cowards, opportune to be appointed by their Godfathers to exhibit their foolishness and never by the people nor to the people.
Once they maneuver into national leadership, the first objective is to enrich themselves, their families, close friends and relatives. Their Godfathers most also be given opportunities and rooms to get big money as a way of compensation paid for installing them in national business against the wishes of the electorates.
Under President Jonathan, Nigeria has totally achieved nothing interms of developments, nothing beneficial did his leadership came with nor did any capital project rather added sufferings to the common man and shows no sign of delivering any.
If I am to rate this government, I will simply say: from where? Because no compass can measure the direction of progress achieved under Jonathan regime as it lacks magnitude neither direction, it has no latitude nor does it has altitude.
Jonathan will forever remained the dullest President Nigeria has ever witnessed. Gudluck Haram as he's called, has demonstrated his inability to govern Nigeria and his ineligibility to manage its resources. Corruption is now a cardinal principle and one among the pillars in Jonathan's Government.
It's important we call a spade a spade and not a farm implement. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, is the most corrupt President Nigeria has accidentally accommodate.
To prove me wrong, he should openly refute all allegations of corruption leveled against him and further substantiate that with a real fight against corruption, not the usual way of deceiving Nigerians as in the case of Aviation Minister Stella Oduah who miraculously bought two BMW cars at a price of a Tokumbo Jet.
Just recently, about N800 Billion was said to be missing from Excess Crude Account. Shortly before 2011 general elections, about N2.7 Trillion was stolen in the name of subsidy. And recently, N500 billion was said to be missing from SURE-P account. These do not include the N8 Trillion stolen directly from NNPC and official oil theft of four hundred thousand barrels per day.
Just between 2011 and 2013, over N7 trillion unfulfilled budgetary allocations and trillions in security votes could not be accounted for; totaling over N14 Trillion stolen from the people of Nigeria in less than three years. These amounts does not include the amount stolen in the guise of restoring power, neither does it include the amount stolen from the privatization of national assets including NEPA. The more money the nation made, the more poorer the people became. Hmm!! Only in Nigeria we heard money has wings, they walk on their own and fly away.
It's still is a mystery how the cost of subsidy shot up to N1.3 Trillion in just one year of Jonathan's administration, especially since ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo's administration spent N300 billion per year.
When the Obasanjo government left power in 2007, the country was no longer in debt and the $30 billion foreign debt that Obasanjo met when he came to power in 1999 was fully paid off. Today, under the administration of Jonathan, the country owes debt to the tune of $30 billion and is still borrowing.
What baffles me is that in the midst of these, the leadership had mischievously gone ahead to share some huge funds in the name of Excess Crude revenue when it should have stored it up for the coming year Foreign reserves that have been depleted from $80 billion during the Obasanjo administration to N33 billion under the administration of Goodluck Jonathan. Wow!! Mandela indeed.
It was reported that when the Obasanjo administration left power in 2007, $23 billion was left in the Excess Crude Account after he built it up from nothing in 1999; by January 2012 the account was empty because the money has been squandered and the account scrapped. What a transformation.
Hiring talkative to call you Mandela is never professional, nor does it make any sense, neither a way of attracting cheap popularity but a national disgrace of oneself, and a presidential foolishness. Kidnapping someone's name and gluing it to you will never overshadow the negative image you painted yourself.
To become a Mandela, you required integrity and devotion to render selfless services to man and humanity. You need to be patriotic and God fearing, you should set aside any political segregation and face the challenges of your dear nation.
To become a Mandela, you have to fight for your masses freedom not captivating them. You have to shun corruption not promoting it. Fight injustice not cultivating it, build unity not destroying it. Before you become Madiba, honesty must be your guidance not rascality.
Becoming Madiba is never a day job, nor does it have room for deceivers. No democratic dictator who packages his country in a foil, put under lock and key in a deep freezer (even in the kindergarten) can childishly compare his so-called self to any National Icon like Nelson Mandela after all the promises he failed to fulfills.
Madam!! Call your best couple to order, as long as you want him to be remembered like Mandela. Teach him how to be patriotic, tutor him on what honesty means, show him how to become a leader not a boss, lecture him on loyalty, instruct him to respect Nigeria, force him to fight corruption, motivate him to be dedicate himself to his fatherland, bend him to obey the rules of engagement, command him to cultivate justice, order him to deliver his objectives, hold him not to be inpatient and discourage him from covering up criminals and looters.
Although, one can't tell if Madam Lazarus poses any the above qualities, but she may be lucky to have gotten some because i heard a legislator calling her Jesus Christ. Nawa o!! It's absolutely barbaric for people to address criminals with honest and respectable names, it's a great mistake and only criminals can honour criminals in such embarrassing fashion. No wonder birds of the same feather, flew together.
Madam!! It's your duties and responsibilities to make your husband a great leader, it's for your own good and happiness to see your husband leaving behind his manhood for Nigeria similar to the one left by Chief Ojukwu. Hmm!! Let me pause here before Dame Jonathan impatiently landed on me but to be frank, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan must emulate some qualities and characters similar to Nelson Mandela.
Viva Mandela!!! Viva Madiba!!!
