President Jonathan, A Blessing To Ndigbo.

Igbo kwenu!! Igbo kwenu!! Ndigbo kwezuo nu!!

President Jonathan has undoubtedly proven to be of Igbo extract with his meaningful developments and the positive contributions to the people of South-Eastern Nigeria.

Jonathan has tremendously transformed the South-East, he has fulfilled all his campaign promises to Ndigbo and as such, he must be one of or even the best Nigerian politician that contributed enormously to the development of Ndigbo.

This reminds me of a Hausa saying "rana bata karya, sai dai uwar diya tayi kunya", meaning: The days promises are made, definitely come and emerge in broad day light leaving the promisor in shyness for not fulfilling such promises. President Jonathan will never hide in shame as he has kept to his campaign promises and can now walk joyfully in any Igbo territory. Indeed, fresh air has circulated in and out of the South-East.

Mr. President has overshadowed all Nigerian leaders in taking democratic dividends to Ndigbo carpeting the like of Nnamdi Azikiwe and has brought joy to the people of Igbo origin than any known human. I see nothing that can warrant withdrawal of the massive support Jonathan is enjoying from Ndigbo.

In 2015, it will be a shame if Ndigbo failed to return Ebele Jonathan as President and Commander in Chief of the Arm Forces. It will equally be a disaster to Ndigbo if Jonathan is defeated as in my opinion, there will never be a president after Jonathan that will devote selflessly to the development of Igbo land and Igbo people. So it should be a "do or die" affair for all Ndigbo in seeing Jonathan return in 2015 as Nigeria's no one citizen.

The love Mr. President has for Ndigbo can't be compared to anything less than a handful. The protection Mr. Jonathan gave to Stella Oduah against Igbo hatters is one best example of the love he has in stock for the people of South-East. He defended Mrs Stella against Igbo hatters who falsely accused her of buying two cars at a miraculous price of a tokumbo jet and later accused her of certificate forgery. The passion Mr. President attached to Ndigbo will never allow Igbo hatters to succeed.

The last November gubernatorial election in Anambra State signifies yet another value Ndigbo have in Mr. President's heart. The way President Jonathan guarded and stand firm to save the people of Anambra State from APC's islamatization and help them escaped being rule by a party composed of mainly Igbo hatters, in this manner, I think Mr. Jonathan deserved recommendation from Ndigbo.

As a form of appreciation, I suggest the Igbo traditional rulers should bestow on President Ebele Jonathan the title of "Nwonzeribe Isenzeriwe one of Igbo kingdom."

President Jonathan has brought massive industrial and infrastructural development in South-East. We are all living witnesses on how Jonathan administration remodeled the Enugu International Airport as promised and since, international flights have began operations in the airport. Kudos to the efforts of Goodluck Ebele.

President Jonathan promised to construct new Stadiums at Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi, Abia and Anambra 29 months ago. Ndigbo, i am happy to report to you that all this stadiums have been constructed and are ready for commissioning. Jonathan's government has build a functional seaport at Onitsha and Oguta and also constructed hydro-power plant at Oji River.

In his commitments to further develop Igbo land, President Jonathan constructed a new dry inland port at Aba which will create more jobs and ease the transportation of heavy goods to prevent over dependence on roads. Jonathan administration also reconstructed Enugu-Onitsha, Owerri-Elele and Enugu-Port Harcourt express-way respectively. A critical bridge on the hump of the federal road linking Abakaliki to Ogoja has also been constructed and ready for commissioning.

On the Second Niger Bridge, Ndigbo must thank God.for bringing Goodluck to power for there will be no President that may give much priority to the Second Niger Bridge than Jonathan. Today, the Second Niger Bridge which is an important economic corridor that is at the heart of a globally recognized emerging industrial hub has been reconstructed and equipped with state of the art facilities, making it among the best bridges in Africa.

Further more, Sam Mbakwe Cargo Airport in Owerri has reached 94% stage of conclusion and the once death trap Aba-Ikot Ekpene highway is now a new wonder, as it has been smoothly remodeled with lightnings and traffic lights to reduce accidents.

Five out of the six refineries promised by President Jonathan in the South East are ready for commissioning while the sixth one located at Akwa is under construction and will soon be ready for commissioning too.

Igbo kwenu!! President has tremendously transformed South-East States to a small Tokyo as electricity is now in abundance, commercial activities are booming and are linked with international investors, courtesy of Enugu International airport.

In view of the structural and human developments Mr. President did in Igbo land, I see no reason why Ndigbo won't support Jonathan's second term ambition. Other regions in Nigeria are envious of the numerous achievements the Ndigbo has attained in just three years of Jonathan administration. Only God can predict the democratic dividends that the people of Igbo land will achieve if Jonathan is giving the mandate to go beyond 2015 because I know it's just the beginning, the end is yet to come.

President Jonathan's administration has now embarked on building rail lines that will cover the whole of South-Eastern States with the view to address transportation challenges facing the region. What a transformation? One can inhale the fragrance of fresh air across all the Igbo States.

On the promises our dear President made to Ndigbo on solutions to end the problems of erosion. I was about assessing the work done in solving erosion, a sound of a heavy truck at the back of my house woke me up from sleep and realized it was just a dream. Shit!!! It's already sun set, time to watch football.
Igbo Kwenu! Igbo Kwenu! Ndigbo Kwezuo nu!!

Open Letter To Chief Bisi Akande: Your Urgent Intervention Is Needed In Sokoto State.

   BEFORE IT GET WORST

I wish to draw your attention to the current political chaos overheating the polity of "All Progressive Congress" in Sokoto State which has taking a different dimension and tends to attract failure to the people's choice "All Progressive Congress" all across the State.

Mr Chairman Sir, I won't be surprise if you haven't been provided with informations or reports containing details of the crisis rocking APC, i will only be astonish if your leadership didn't take any necessary actions to save the people of Sokoto from forced slavery.

Sir, after reading a letter titled "The Straw That Broke the Camel's Back" containing all sorts of insults and allegations written to the incumbent Governor of Sokoto State Alh. Aliyu Wamakko by one Akibu Dalhatu believed to be an associate and sympathizer to APC chieftain and former Governor of the State Alh. Attahiru Bafarawa. I will disagree if you said you haven't read that letter. I wouldn't want to believe in this era of PDP brutalities, members of any well-meaning political party can chewed off themselves raw that way.

I found it necessary to use this medium since we are in the season of open letters to openly writes you and request your urgent intervention in solving the dispute between Gov. Wamakko and his former boss Attahiru Bafarawa both of whom enjoyed massive support and popularity in the State. The people of Sokoto need your leadership to step in and quench the fire setting APC ablaze using your acquired qualities and skills in conflict resolution.

If you can recall, Gov Wamakko defected to All Progressive Congress less than two months back while Attahiru Bafarawa was among the founders of APC and was involved in receiving the birth of the party, he among others nurtured the young APC upto adulthood and played a significant role in popularizing the party.
After Gov Wamakko and others (G-7 Governors) falls short of rapport with the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP) and defected to APC.

Sir, controversies erupted shortly after Wamakko switches to APC on who between Wamakko and Bafarawa controls the affairs of APC. Bafarawa being one of the founding father of APC claimed to be incharge while Gov Wamakko being an incumbent Governor who possessed power and authority deserved to be on the driving seat. Gov. Wamakko claimed to have signed an agreement with the leadership of APC before joining the party which vested on him, 80% control of APC in the State and Bafarawa will maintain the remaining 20% as they said.

As you know Sir, the regulations governing APC made it clear in the party's constitutions that a serving Governor under the platform of the party is the superior head of that party in his state.
The National Publicity Secretary of APC Mr. Lai Mohommed affirmed it last two weeks on page 17 via Leadership Newspaper on the 6th of January 2014 and I quote: he says "For the avoidance of doubt, please quote me that I said that the party insists that APC governors whether new or old will drive the party in their various states until we have state congresses and for this purpose, there will be no discrimination between old or new APC governors or those who defected from the PDP." Mr. Chairman if this is the case, why would your leadership allow party members to be casting war among themselves?

Mr. Chairman, I am happy to report to you that APC has been widely accepted and supported in Sokoto State and at same time, I am sad to report to you that APC in Sokoto State has two party headquarters, two executives, two leadership and two factions. Unless you were not told, an attack has been carried out by one faction of APC against the other faction last week in the State. I remained confused as to why your leadership didn't intervened to halt this ugly fashion of self opposition?

What is clear is that if your leadership has no plan to address the crisis, and you as the leader do not even want to acknowledge it as a problem, that it is beyond your control. The people of Sokoto will assume you are playing political games with their destiny, whilst our children have to run the gauntlet of bullets every day and the lack of sound education. We are asking you to urgently constitute a dialogue committee who will reconcile between the two leaders in the State as to achieve the desired objectives of forming APC.

Sir, The solution surely must be in uniting Gov. Wamakko and Alh. Bafarawa with a vision and a plan to address the issues of political rivelry. The grassroot politicians must be party to defining the plan, as they know best what is happening and have ideas about solutions. Then you can unite all the forces required to fight the scourge of PDP, including some minority political parties - if you agree that they are needed. But the arrogance and political posturing of Gov. Wamakko and Alh. Bafarawa makes the Sokoto State incapable of appreciating the hardships of APC's National Leadership or uniting and working with them towards a solution.

Mr. Chairman Sir, We ask you to get real and call on both leaders to unite together with our people around a solution to this crisis that brings leadership, vision and hope to our communities. We ask that you do it with the urgency of now.

Kind Regards
