Hello President Jonathan, Are You Still Incharge?

Goodluck Jonathan,
President and
Commander In Chief Of The
Arm Forces,
Federal Republic Of Nigeria.

With due respect, i am writing you for the second time in five months with tears and pains regarding the current state of perturbation and fiasco we found ourselves in this Nation under your dictum. I must first of all salute your courage and efforts in refreshing Nigeria to a georgic land of hatred, ethnic bigotry, religious and tribal sentiments, i must also commend your transformation agenda for transforming Nigeria from peace loving nation to a battle field. Indeed, we have had enough fresh air.
Seeing we are no longer in the season of "Open letters" but in the season of "blames", i decided to inform you about the extreme state of calamitous tragedies we are and the way we live can only be compared to that of those in hell.

Sir, i am writing to inform you that more and more Nigerians are running out of serenity with your superintendence, the remaining few giving you benefit of doubt are seething with rage, you have disappointed us all and displayed no signs of regaining your lost veneration.

Permit me to remind you of a dishonorable and villainous etiquette you staged some weeks ago on the 15th April 2014 when you went partying after the brutal massacre of nothing less than 100 nigerians and the abduction of over 250 school girls, this flagitious demeanor didn't only tarnished your image but obliterated all your innocence if any toward the fight to fish out the sponsors of deadly Boko Haram operations in the rural, and If nothing, it has shown your dereliction to service and your gross irresponsibilities as the number one citizen of this country.

Lest we forget your Excellency, despite your promises to overcome the menace of insecurity in our land, your leadership is not showing any real generosity to the plight of terrorism ravaging the whole north and even expanding to other regions. Your regime keep double bouncing in the ongoing fight against terror, you keep scoring own goals and committing unforced errors, why? You always pretends to be doing your best but i am sorry to say if what we are witnessing is the best you can offer, then leaders of your quality are no longer needed in Nigeria and therefore, you may leave because we've had enough of your recklessness. I see no reason why you should ask for more.
When you declared a state of emergency in three states troubled by insurgency a year back, i thought it was a nice shot but later arosed to be a nice offside. The emergency rule proved fruitless as it only worsen the situation and came like a sort of motivation to the terrorists, it was never as lethal as during the rule of emergency. How comes? Your insensitivity to the plight may be a determining factor to the sluggishness of our unmotivated soldiers.

I may not be touched by the dividends of your management for the fact that i wasn't a Niger Deltan or may be being me an extract from where you considered as Chad, but to tell you the fact sir, nothing real has change since you took over leadership from late President Umar Musa Yer'adua, things only worsened but yet, you keep saying we should make sacrifice to help Nigeria grow. What kind of sacrifice do you precisely mean Mr. President?
If the you can throw a jamboree in Australia on behalf of Mama Peace and senators earn millions of dollars a year, why does you keep asking us, the people, to make sacrifice?

Sir, our lives are endangered, our unity is fast becoming extinct, our properties are annihilated, our schools are smashed, our daughters are abducted, our youths jobless and yet, you are desperate to return on power, to continue the wasteful fashion of rascality you are mushy of? Your “body language” carries more weight than what your senior aide posts on social medias, or what the younger aides retweet. No, no way, gone are the days when we will allow a clueless person to pilot our affairs.

Let me at least remind you (again) of the similarity between our current dilemma and the documented tragedies of years past. No difference, Nothing different indeed, really.

Yet, we keep reading on dailies and watching on televisions about the numbers your aides quoted to prove that things have become better under your watch, but this house is not in the best shape. Why is it that the common man's life hasn't felt the impact of the rising figures? The security of lives and properties should be, and it is top on the cardinal principles of any nation and the mandate you were elected to execute, but we are drawing down from eagles to chickens.

Sir, i know you have busy schedules ahead with preparations to gear up commencement for a smooth takeoff of the upcoming world economic summit in Abuja. At a time when the world is busy debating and passing resolutions on how to rescue the over 200 abducted school girls under your care, you are here busy declaring holidays and shutting down government businesses just to host a summit. Another unforced error.

Sir, we have had enough of your divide and rule peculiarity, nigerians are no more prejudiced in your temerity, we need not more of your monkey, we are sick and bored of your tommyrot, we are fed up with your halfheartedness, Nigerians want peace, we need actions not blames, we need solutions not cheap blackmails, we want a leader not a drunk bigot.

The reality is that people who foolishly placed so much hope on your candidacy and government have been so short-changed. Nigerians built heavily on your outrageous promises and got nothing in return. Your government, within its short life span, has been nothing but an unmitigated disaster.

We have never had it so bad. Life has not been really worth it in Nigeria but under your stewardship, the meaninglessly of life assumed a tragic dimension. Terrorists are having a field day – please ask the unfortunate victims of terrorism that have paid the heavy price.

Kidnapping has become an established respected profession. It got so bad that even Igwes and Emirs became fair games for kidnappers. As if these calamities are insufficient, Boko Haram swung into action in all its glory. Nigeria has become an unimagined wild jungle in the midst of civilized nations. Is this the fresh air we were promised?

With due respect Mr. President, we will no longer accept half devils-half Nazi leaders. We wouldn't tolerate injustice anymore, we have seized accommodating criminals gawking for immunity with impunity. We will be force to come out in mass and occupy Nigeria, we must protest the long surviving oppression from occupation. We won't summon to radicalism nor will we accept indiscipline and abuse of power, neither will we support corruption and injustice by few rascals accidentally opportuned to be on national leadership.

Your Excellency Sir, your aides are your greatest enemies. Your aides are contributing negatively to your reputation, they are all notice-me monkeys dancing in front of you but spoils your name at your back. Believe me or not, almost all of your aides are irrelevant in the political equation that no serious-minded person should take seriously.
The hypocrisy of your senior aides have successful succeeded in making your administration a miserable one for Nigerians.

However, it has become pertinent to alert you Mr. President that your aides represent the very worst of your administration. With aides and advisers like Abati and co. you certainly does not need any enemy. Indeed, your aides are more than enough. The earlier you purged your government of characters like Abati as you did to Gulak, the better for us all.

Lastly Sir, i wish you a smooth takeoff and landing of the upcoming world summit in Abuja and i prayed that it should be a hitch free conference. Drink well sir, as we storm Sambisa forest to search and free our abducted school girls since your leadership can't.

My regards to Mama Peace please, we are patiently waiting for the release of her next movie.

Islam, Shekau And The Rest Of Us By Usama Dandare.

Islam, Shekau And The Rest Of Us By Usama Dandare.

Please do we have any psychologist in the house? I suggest careful examinations on the latest Boko Haram video in which Abubakar Shekau claimed responsibility for the abduction of over 250 school girls in the troubled northeastern state of Borno. I have many questions and doubts on the character in question "Shekau" regarding his faith and his deadly mission.

Before we move into that, we all has the right to live in peace as citizens of this country and therefore, we should collectively fight to get ourselves out of this whole mess called Boko Haram or whatever. God created us to serve him and help others, so we owe devotion, intention, and wise diligence to God in all we do.

Remember, the obligations we owe humanity are to help the oppressed, to feed the poor, to give hope to the hopeless, to stand up for injustice and to fight for the lives of our fellow humans.
If a person is being murdered, we are obligated to try and stop it. An injury to one is an injury to all.

The security of lives and properties in Nigeria are beyond the normal powers of a clueless leader like ours ( sorry not clueless, i mean a leader who doesn't want to use all his powers not to be call a dictator), the task is now ours.
I don't want to talk much on Nigeria's leadership today as you can see, i am not in my best mood and to save them from my harsh words, let's forget about them but sincerely speaking, we don't have a President.

As i was saying, we must collectively join hands to defeat this demons called Boko Haram if and only if we need our future generations to live in peace and be happy, the destiny of this great nation must never rest upon shoulders of some few terrorist and never shall we allow some scrupulous elements to destroy our Nigeria, our only symbol of pride. Never!

Back to where we started, the recent video released by Boko Haram terrorists where the sect leader Abubakar Shekau was foolishly parading himself as the kidnapper of our school daughters prompted some thoughts and i felt they worth sharing, i noticed some few things that made me to ask this questions, is Abubakar Shekau really a Muslim? Is he fighting a just cause or a hired demon to threaten the existence of Nigeria?

As a devoted Muslim and a true believer in the oneness of Nigeria, i owe God the duty to protest any attack on his religion and also owe Nigeria the obligation to defend her unity.

While watching Shekau's rascalities, i made some few observations from the 57 minutes video released about 24 hours ago and i strongly believes any right thinking person must also observe as many as mine, if not more.

First, Shekau claimed to be a genuine Muslim, that he's fighting a cause for God and Islam but what astonished me most was the fact that by a careful look at Shekau in the video, he's speaking under the influence of a toxic substance which is totally prohibited in Islam, Islam didn't permit the use of anything toxic and a real Muslim must abide by that directive. How can Shekau under the influence of an alcoholic substance claim to be fighting for a religion that taboo alcohol?

Shekau quoted many verses from the Holy Quran wrongly and uncompleted, when any Muslim knows the implications in Islam to cite half verses without completing them. In order to get full meaning of Qur'anic verses, they must be quoted and translated fully and no half quotations are allowed in Islam. Ask anyone familiar with Arabic words and hear. This translated Shekau's lack of Islamic knowledge or he may have intentionally left out some sentences to deceive his uneducated followers and twist the true message of God, a very sinful act that attract severe punishments in Islam.

Shekau insisted that Almighty Allah has ordered him to abduct and sell the abducted Chibok school girls as slaves but failed to quote any verse or reference in any Islamic revelation that gave him such powers. By closer look and careful listening, one can conclude the fact that Shekau is a sponsored agent to tarnish the image of Islam and cause unrest in the land. According to Shekau, whoever is not among them is an unbeliever, so my dear Christian brothers should note that this isn't a war only against them but a general war against Nigeria and Nigerians.

The evil Shekau gave us (Nigerians) only two options, is either we are with them (Boko Haram) or we are with the unbelievers as he called them (Mal. Aminu Kano, Tabawa Balewa & the rest). At this gesture, let me make it clear to Shekau. On behalf of all Nigerian Muslims, we are not with you and we will never be with you, we are with those you called unbelievers, yes we with them and Allah (the God you claimed to be fighting for) will surely expose you and your evil sponsors.

Permit me to end with the translation of "Surah Al Kafirun Q.109", the Surah in which Shekau claimed God ordered him to kill the unbelievers.

In the name of Allah, The Most gracious, The Most merciful.

109:1. Say (O Muhammad) to the disbelievers.

102:2. "I worship not that which you worship,

109:3. "Nor will you worship that which I worship.

109:4. "And I shall not worship that which you are worshiping.

109:5. "Nor will you worship that which I worship.

109:6. "To you be your religion, and to me my religion."

As you can see, if the Surah is read carefully with aims of understanding it true meaning and teachings, one can finds that it was not revealed to preach religious intolerance as Shekau seem to think, but it was revealed in order to exonerate the Muslims from the disbelievers religion (the idols worshipers of that time), their rites of worship, and their gods, and to express their total disgust and unconcern with them and to tell them that Islam and kufr (unbelief) had nothing in common and there was no possibility of their being combined and mixed into one entity. The word "kafir' should not be seen as an abuse, it's the Arabic name for a person who refuses to believe in something.

Based on this, I can authoritatively say that Abubakar Shekau as he claimed to be is not a Muslim and he's not fighting any cause for Islam but for the selfish reasons of his financiers and carnivorous blood thirsty terrorists.
